Her expertise includes the development and enforcement of the Caribbean Fisheries Traceability and Certification System for Honduran lobster destined for the European market. She has also played a key role in negotiating economic treaties with international partners, including Taiwan, Colombia, and the European Union.

Ananda holds an MA and PhD in Conflict Analysis and Post-War Reconstruction, and an MSc in Environmental Management. With 29 years of experience collecting and analysing socio-cultural-political and economic data across 70 countries in the Global South, she has worked on the ground in communities on every continent except Oceania. She brings deep expertise in understanding how local and Indigenous communities interact with external actors. As a multilingual specialist in social systems and research methods, she has developed tools to analyse and anticipate community responses, address aid dependency and clientelism, and support more effective engagement. Her work includes experience with Indigenous and minority groups in the Caribbean, Central America, and other regions across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. This global perspective and extensive practical experience uniquely position her to help Verdama Earth address FPIC challenges at the highest strategic and operational levels.

Dr. Flores Rodas has a proven track record of managing significant portfolios (USD 20–40 million) for major multilateral organizations, including the World Bank, the Interamerican Development Bank, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration and the European Union. His recent work focuses on high-level strategic advisory for coastal ecosystem valuation and the development of investment-ready pipelines for conservation in Honduras.
An influential figure in forestry governance, he has led the formulation of the national forest policies and institutional strategic plans, bridging the gap between technical environmental sectors and the banking industry through innovative financial instruments. Fluent in Spanish and English, he remains a key architect of sustainable landscape strategies and climate-resilient development in Central America.
Edit Kiss is a climate finance and carbon markets specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in nature-based solutions, conservation finance, and natural capital investing. She has worked across Africa, Asia, and Latin America on the structuring and financing of REDD+, ARR, blue carbon, and landscape restoration programmes, supporting project developers, investors, NGOs, and public institutions to mobilise capital into high-impact climate and nature initiatives.
Prior to co-founding Capital Continuum Advisers, Edit held senior investment and portfolio management roles at Mirova Natural Capital, Althelia Ecosphere, Revalue Nature, and Eneco Energy Trade. Her experience spans carbon portfolio management, blended finance structuring, investment strategy development, and the commercialisation of large-scale nature-based carbon projects.
Edit is an active contributor to international climate and conservation finance initiatives and has held advisory and leadership roles with organisations including Verra, ICROA, IETA, and the Coalition for Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC).

Natalia’s deep technical expertise in carbon methodologies and her experience in cross-sector coordination between stakeholders will allow Verdama Earth to navigate the rigorous certification and verification cycles required to access high-integrity international carbon markets.
