At Verdama Earth, we restore vital ecosystems by originating high-impact projects in global biodiversity hotspots. Our flagship initiative—now in development—is based in Honduras, one of the world’s richest yet most threatened biodiversity regions, home to 2.5% of all known species.
Since 2000, Honduras has lost 18% of its primary forests, with coastal, wetland, riparian, and grassland ecosystems also under threat. Our project addresses this crisis by developing high-integrity, nature-based carbon programmes, and other ecosystem services’ related products designed to protect and regenerate these landscapes.
We partner closely with local communities, valuing their generational land stewardship and knowledge as key to long-term carbon capture and sustainable impact. At Verdama Earth, ecological restoration is rooted in equity, science, and respect for place.
